Off-the-Plan

New Build Inspection

Your Off-the-Plan New Build Inspection

Off-the-plan purchases come with unique risks, especially when it comes to build quality and final completion. Our Off-the-Plan New Build Inspection ensures you receive what you were promised — and that the property meets the expected standard.

This inspection is fully compliant with Section 137B of the Building Act, and is used to satisfy the disclosure requirements for building works listed in the Section 32 documentation.

We assess:

  • Overall build quality and workmanship

  • Structural elements and internal finishes

  • Fixtures, fittings and appliances

  • Waterproofing, tiling, plastering and painting

  • Safety hazards or incomplete items

  • Compliance with the approved plans and specifications

You will receive a detailed report highlighting any defects, incomplete work or areas requiring rectification by the builder.

This inspection safeguards your new home or apartment by verifying that the finished build matches the agreed plans, specifications and workmanship standards before settlement. By identifying defects, incomplete items or non-compliant work early, you can have issues rectified during the builder’s warranty period, avoiding expensive repairs later. The report gives you confidence, protects your investment and ensures you take ownership of a property that meets the quality you were promised.
